RIVER HOUSE
River House is a unique masterpiece, consisting of three distinct pavilions arranged around a private central courtyard with a pool. Nestled on a sloping site, this architectural gem is supported by round steel posts cantilevering of an blockwork wall, with a striking black textured facade, and featuring off-form concrete as its defining element. While the back of the River House stands out as a contemporary design, the front harmoniously blends into its surroundings. The front facade seamlessly integrates a modern Queensland white batten cladding, mirroring the character of the neighbourhood. This thoughtful design approach pays homage to the local charm while ensuring a cohesive aesthetic in the community. The use of expansive glass elements, including large sliding panels, invites natural light to flood the interiors and showcases the panoramic Brisbane river views.
